The prestigious Shops at Wailea wanted a new luxury feel to their marketing that reflected the luxury brands at their center in the Wailea Resort on Maui.
"As Distinctive as You are" had just the right ring and was our stepping off point to bring their target market to shop. Gorgeous models that fit the demographic in fashions from the stores set in the beautiful center made a lot of sense to us. And in this case, listing the brands, stores and restaurants that fit her many sides was a natural. For her Glam side, we list Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Betsey Johnson. For her Sparkly side, how about Tiffany & Company or the Black Pearl Gallery. Show and list the fashons she loves and sees as one of her many sides, and you're gold.

This newspaper campaign for Pearlridge Center on Oahu was not only an ICSC MAXI Award finalist, it helped drive Pearlridge’s market dominance and its “100% leased” efforts. TV was hot, too. Independent research attributed the center’s incredible growth during this period to “advertising.”
Kahala Mall had a limited budget, but we had lots of creative ideas to help it grow. After all, it is located in Kahala, the Beverly Hills of Oahu. Champagne attitude on a beer budget, anyone?
The largest center on the beautiful Windward side of Oahu has a customer base that is culturally diverse, loves "value," and has come to expect the finest entertainment for which Windward Mall is famous. We combined all that into an ad campaign that achieved reader attention and sales results.
When the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center began their multimillion dollar facelift, they smartly decided to revamp all their collateral to reflect their new look. For their center magazine, they turned to us to bring their new vision to life. From her stylish attitude to the magic of world famous Diamondhead reflected in her designer glasses, she turns up the heat.

Aloha Tower
Parking is often a problem on an island. And local people here don’t want to pay. Aloha Tower Marketplace asked us what to do. How about “free parking,” we said.
Bridgeport Village
Bridgeport Village, a new beautifully designed center outside Portland, Oregon wanted advertising that appealed to their upscale demographics. Cold climate advertising from Hawaii and I get to do outdoor boards again, too? No problem.
When Lancel Paris opened their stores in Honolulu, they didn’t want to look like Lancel Paris’ international advertising. They wanted to attract local people. We gave them a “French art” theme that was internationally classy, combined with a gift with purchase program that was a winner.
The Black Pearl Gem Company, Tahiti's premier black pearl boutique and jewelry retailer wanted a new look to all their marketing efforts. Something to set them apart from the many other black pearl companies--a cohesive brand image that reinforced their dominant market position and gave them a distinctive, "off the rock" look. People are buying the remembrance and magic of Tahiti. "Lose the hardware," we all agreed. So, from sales staff uniforms and instore graphics, to their Mercedes shuttle signage, international print campaign and collateral, we did it, beautifully. 
Gathering the finest Tahitian Black Pearls, South Seas Golds and Whites, and Champagne pearl jewelry together in Hawaii, Charlon Pearls asked us to help market their beautiful pieces to both the wholesale trade and retail direct markets. We went to Tahiti to visit their operation, made some suggestions, and photographed this Tahitian beauty for their international advertising. "From Tahiti, with Love"--naturally.
